Universal Crimpable Hook

The Universal Crimpable Hook is designed for 18x25 and 21x25 archwires. The Universal Crimpable Hook can be used with elastics, chain, coil springs, and the 3mm length is perfect for surgical cases. The interior is ribbed with bi-directional grips for increased grip strength on the archwire. The mushroom top on the Universal Crimpable Hook allows for use as a surgical hook, or an arch hook.

The Universal Crimpable Hook is crimped onto the arch wire in situations where the bracket may not have a hook, or a hook is needed in another location to attach elastics, chain, coil springs or Temporary Anchorage Devices. They will be used for Class I space closure, Class II, and Class III malocclusions and can also be used in surgery cases where ligature wire will be laced to keep the mandible closed.
